Team: Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training (SAT)
Product: Phishing
Environment: SAT Portal
Summary: If a learner sends us an email that is not from the SAT platform, we can forward it to a dedicated email so you can decide how to manage it.
Due to recent changes with Microsoft Add-in support and button functionality, forwarded messages no longer include just reported phishing messages. The built-in report button in Outlook and OWA will now forward all messages that the button interacted with, including junk messages that were flagged as Not-Junk. This is causing a strange action in our Forward Reported Phishing Attempts feature, as it's now also forwarding messages that were set as Non-Junk. We are investigating the action and looking into other adjustments to keep this functionality available. Otherwise, consider using the add-In options we now provide - Ribbon Button Add-In and Reading Task Pane Add-In.
Forward Reported Phishing Attempts
-
Log into your SAT admin account: https://mycurricula.com/login
- Proceed to your account settings and then the “Team” tab.
-
From there, scroll down to “Forward Reported Phishing Attempts”. Adding an email here will forward all non-SAT reported phishing emails to this address. This means any emails that were reported using the report as a phish but aren't part of the Huntress Managed SAT simulated phishing campaign will be forwarded to the provided address.
If desired, the phish emails that are sent back to you from the Huntress Managed SAT platform can then be reported to Microsoft directly. Phishing emails can be sent to Microsoft directly at phish@office365[.]microsoft[.]com - more details can be found here.
