Summary: Phishing simulator tool for training
What is the HSAT Phishing Simulator?
The SAT Phishing Simulator is an important tool to supplement and test how well Learners understand and apply SAT phishing training.
Using the Phishing Simulator, SAT platform managers can build and launch custom campaigns simulating real-world phishing attacks on their Learners. Platform managers select the scenario(s) they want to deliver, the audience in scope for the campaign, and the time frame in which campaign email will deliver into the inboxes of their Learners.
How to use the Phishing Simulator
Be sure to allowlist SAT's phishing IP address and domains in your email client before launching a campaign to your organization; otherwise, the emails may not deliver to your Learners or may end up in their spam folders.
Allowlisting information is available in the Admin Settings of the SAT admin platform. After logging into the platform, click the ‘Settings’ tab, followed by the ‘Phishing’ tab. SAT phishing IP address and domains can be found under the ‘Allowlisting’ section.
For step-by-step instructions to allowlist this information in your email client, please visit the Allowlisting section of our Help Center. (Note: If you are using additional tools to secure your email client, you may need to allowlist SAT's IP address and domains in those as well.)
Once you have allowlisted SAT, you will be ready to begin creating a campaign!
After a campaign is completed, summary results can be viewed in a list view from the ‘Phishing’ tab. You can also click on the campaign name to see a more detailed breakdown of the campaign, track attempts on an individual basis, review campaign details, and print reports from the campaign.
