Summary: This guide will cover Learner Essentials and how to launch your first training Assignment.
Learner Essentials is a ready-made Assignment from Huntress featuring two episodes: Phishing and Intro to Cyber Security. This assignment is automatically included in all New Partner accounts as a Draft. It's crafted to address some of the fundamental aspects of Cyber Security with a seamless setup.
If you prefer not to enroll all of your accounts, please refer to the later section of this guide titled "Manually Launch the Learner Essential Assignment." Here, you'll find instructions on how to make further modifications, such as choosing particular accounts for enrollment.
How to Launch the Learner Essential Assignment.
Navigate to the Accounts tab and select the Launch button under the New Learner Essentials card to begin setting up the new assignment.
After the Launch button is selected, a confirmation pop will allow you to quickly Enroll all accounts and Launch the assignment by selecting the Enroll all accounts and Launch button.
Manually Launch the Learner Essential Assignment.
Log into the Security Awareness Training (SAT) dashboard as a partner administrator.
- Select the Assignments tab at the top of the dashboard.
- Select the New Learner Essentials assignment.
- You will land in the Create Assignment Wizard at the Assignment Information tab. Scroll down to view and edit additional options or add a description to the assignment. Click Next to continue.
- On the next tab "Select Content." You will see the two predetermined episodes "Phishing" and "Intro to Cyber Security." Click Next to move on to the next step.
- In the "Audience" tab, several choices are available. The foremost option is Auto-Enrollment. Keeping this option selected means the system will automatically include all newly created accounts in this assignment shortly after their creation. For those who already have accounts established, you should click the Add Accounts button to pick from a list of your pre-existing accounts.
- Check the box next to the accounts that you would like enrolled in this assignment, and then select the "Add Selected" button. A confirmation pop-up will appear to verify the number of enrolled accounts. Press the "Next" button to move on to Scheduling.
- Scheduling. On the Scheduling page, you can leave the Default of Start Immediately and No End Date or specify your own start and end dates for this assignment. Once you are done configuring the Scheduling portion, select the Next button to move on to the final step.
- Review & Launch. This final step will display a summary of the Assignment. You will be able to see the name of the assignment and a description if you apply it in Step 3. As well as how many pieces/episodes are contained in the assignment. The total number of Learners across all existing accounts that were added and the scheduled start and end dates. When you are ready to launch the assignment, simply click the Launch Assignment button.
