What is the SAT General Manager Feature?
The General Manager feature expands a learner's visibility in their Learner Dashboard, allowing them to view the training status for all employees, not just their direct reports. Enabling this feature provides a comprehensive, company-wide view of training progress and phishing campaign results.
Prerequisites
The user you wish to update to a Manager role must have a Learner account.
How to Enable the General Manager Feature
Follow these steps to enable the General Manager feature for a learner:
- Log in to the SAT Admin Portal and go to the Learners tab.
- Select the learner you want to edit from the list. This opens the Learner Editor page.
Scroll down to the Access section. - Toggle the feature flag from Disabled to Enabled to activate the General Manager feature for this learner.
- Save your change
What will the Learner see?
Once enabled, the learner will see the updated view in their Learner Dashboard, which includes the following expanded features:
- The General Manager Dashboard will now be available. This will let them view the training status for everyone in the company.
-
Assignments: Click the Assignments button to see who has completed or not completed assignments.
- You can opt to hide or view specific learners.
- Review Active Training that has not been completed.
- Download Certificates of Completion for any required training.
Phishing: Click the Phishing button to see who has been compromised in active campaigns.
- You can click Hide Learners who have completed recovery training.
- Preview: Use the Preview button to view the phishing email and landing page.
Limitations / Caveats
Please keep in mind these caveats when enabling this feature.
- Access is granted by logging into the learner dashboard not the admin dashboard.
- This "manager" user cannot log in using the Access Code when attempting to use this view. Any other method for sign in is ok.
- This will only show assignments in progress and those who have the flag to allow learners to complete post end dates.
