Summary: The Huntress partner portal lets you add an unlimited number of users at the account or organization level, each with their own permissions.
Huntress allows you to have an unlimited number of user accounts at no additional cost. You can add users at the account level or the organization level.
Users added at the account level can view and manage all organizations under the account.
Users added at the organization level can only view and manage the specific organization(s) the user is assigned to.
Note: Only account-level users can view the Account Key and installer, which are used to deploy the Huntress agent. This helps prevent unauthorized agent installs, since the account is responsible for billing.
Adding account-level users
To add a user at the account level:
- In the Huntress partner portal, open the hamburger menu and select Users, or click Users in the top navigation bar.
- On the Users page, select + Add.
- Enter the user's details and select the appropriate role.

Adding organization-level users
To add a user at the organization level, first select the specific organization, then follow a similar process.
- Use the organization selector in the top-left corner of the portal to choose the desired organization.
- Once you are in the desired organization, click Users in the navigation bar or open the hamburger menu and select Users.
- Repeat the same steps you used for adding an account-level user.

Confirmation email
When you add a new user, Huntress sends an invitation email to the address you specify. The new user will click the link in that email to set up their account and password.
The invitation email is sent from support@huntress.io. If the user does not receive the email, ask them to:
- Check their spam or junk folder.
- Ensure that support@huntress.io is allowed or whitelisted in their email security tools.
If the invitation still does not arrive or you have questions, please open a ticket with Huntress Support.
Pending users
You can view users whose portal invitations are still pending on the Users page. This helps you confirm who has not yet completed their account setup.
Pending User Actions
- Edit Invitation - Fix typos or update recipient names before they accept.
- Re-send - Move the invitation to the top of the recipient’s inbox for easier access.
