Team: Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training (SAT)
Product: Portal Login
Summary: Passkeys can act as a login accelerator for admins to access the Managed SAT portal in lieu of using email, password and/or 2FA.
Login processes for admins to the Managed SAT platform can now be expedited with the use of passkeys tools. This does not apply for learners.
This is not designed to replace your existing email, password, and/or 2FA options, rather it gives an alternative sign in option that is often considered more secure because passkeys cannot be used on fake websites and are considered passwordless methods of signing in.
How to Configure a New Passkey
Supported Passkey Tools
This feature should work with most Passkey tools, but these are the ones we have tested and confirmed work as expected:
- 1Password
- iCloud Keychain
- Chrome Profiles
- Bitwarden
- YubiKey 5 Series
You are welcome to use your preferred Passkey tool, even if it is not listed above. If it is one we have not yet seen in our portal, or is a less commonly used tool, your key may display as “Generic Authenticator.” This is expected behavior and does not impact performance.

- I received a login failure when attempting to use my Passkey. What’s happening?
- It’s possible the key did not sync correctly, or was removed from your portal. Sign in with your email, password and/or 2FA, and check the current configuration of your Passkey. Sometimes removing and re-adding it to the portal will correct the issue.
