Summary: You can lock the learner status from receiving a new status from your directory sync.

This feature can be helpful if you are not able to exclude identities from directory sync and do not want the sync updating the learner status.

Locking Learner Status

1. Proceed to the learner that you want to exclude from being synced by your directory sync.
   
   
   
2. Set your desired learner status and check “Prevent automated sync from changing status”. 
   
   
   
3. Select “Update Status”
   The identity will now not be affected by further directory syncs.
