2Using Performance Monitor
Sample Data
The following graphs were plotted from data collected using Performance Monitor. The data was collected over two survey periods with a sample rate of one second.
Windows 10 x64
- Processor: 2.8Ghz i7 (eight logical cores)
- RAM: 16 GB
Windows 2016 x64 (virtual machine)
- Processor: 2.8Ghz i7 (four logical cores)
- RAM: 4 GB
Using Performance Monitor
If you want to recreate these graphs for your hosts, you can monitor the "Process" counters "% Processor Time" and "Private Bytes" for the "HuntressAgent" process.
Keep in mind that if you use the graphing tool included with Performance Monitor, the the graph does not account the fact that the total percentage could go beyond 100% because of the number of logical cores. (In our case, the graph showed a maximum of 100, but it needed to be adjusted to 800 because of the 8 cores.)
