Summary: Certain organizations within a Huntress account may require additional access restrictions, such as internal IT organizations.
To restrict these organizations from being viewed or accessed, admins can designate them as a Privileged Organization. Once designated, they can only be viewed by account admins or by users that have access to that specific organization.
In order to enable this feature, head to the Organizations table and open up the actions menu. From there, you’re able to set one or more organizations as privileged.
Multiple pages at the account level are filtered to exclude information about the privileged orgs from being viewed by non-admins. These include:
- Dashboard
- Organizations
- Agents
- Incidents
- Investigations
- Footholds
- Process Insights
- Managed Antivirus
- Ransomware Canaries
- External Recon
Notable exceptions include the monthly/quarterly threat summary reports, which will still include aggregated information. Additionally, PSA integration behavior will not change – further restrictions should happen within the PSA itself.
