When I enforce the policy, are you force enabling Defender?

Enforce mode "enforces" the policy settings you have set in Huntress (via local Group Policy), which would be your exclusion list (whitelist/blacklist) and UI settings. We do not currently have the ability to enable Defender settings if they are disabled. See Enabling Defender (using Powershell)
