Generating New 2FA Backup Codes

Product: Two-Factor (2FA) / Multi-factor (MFA) Backup Codes
Environment: Huntress.IO management portal
Summary: Backup Codes used for signing in to the Huntress.IO portal can be reset and should be saved externally so they are not lost. 

The following steps will guide you through generating new backup codes.

1. After logging in to your Huntress account, click the user menu (hamburger menu) and select "Preferences".
2. Click the "pencil icon" to edit the "Backup Codes":
3. The system will automatically generate new backup codes for you. First download, print, or copy your new codes and then click "Save" to update your account to use the new codes. If you do not click "I've saved these backup codes" the codes will not be valid.
